Blaze™ White has returned better than ever. Now reformulated to provide improved body, coverage, and a more matte finish. Plus, best of all, Blaze™ is now part of our FlexCure™ line. It can be cured from a low 290°F to 320°F (143°C – 160°C). (See Spot Flashing below)
Blaze™ Cotton White is a non-phthalate, high pigment, fast flashing, low tack, high performance plastisol screen printing ink. Expect it to be creamy, short bodied and opaque, for excellent coverage on dark garments. Just right for a high performance, opaque underlay.
Spot Flashing with Blaze™ Cotton White will spot dry, with a very low after flash tack. Dwell time does depend on the spot dryer used, so you may have to lower the heat of the spot cure unit to avoid making the ink tacky. When you spot dry, you are only partially fusing or gelling the surface of the ink. The ink should be just dry to the touch, with no lift-off, but not totally fused. Totally fusing the underprint white can cause inter-coat adhesion problems with the inks printed on top of the white ink. Final fusing or curing in the dryer comes at the end.
