Its mechanical auto-open feature:

Its unique heat casting with an exclusive alloy maximizes heat transfer. The floating lower platen provides even pressure from edge to edge at all temperatures, even with thicker substrates.
Easy open and close is equipped with a spring assist, full range pressure adjustment, plus 20% more pressure compared to straight handle designs.
